Baby Yoda memes, are the light of my life. This tiny creature from Mandalorian is so relatable to me. It reminds me of being a kid and the things we used to do that are so humorous today. The meme about the unplugged controller takes me back to when I was a kid and my brother would constantly do this to me. After a while my father forced him to let me play and then it all went down hill.

I used to do this with my nephews and have them use a controller from a completely different console. Works every time! Eventually I gave in just like Mando did with Baby Yoda. Let the people you love enjoy the the hobbies you love doing. Once you get passed the bumps in the road it becomes something you feel like you could not possibly do without them.

NON GAMERS

For any of you non gamers out there with a significant other that lives and breathes gaming; join them! I promise you they will more than likely get the same feeling you get when you both enjoy a show or movie together. It will become your thing that you can lean on to bound over. Or you’ll both have a great time playing every so often and they will join you in some of your hobbies. But, make sure your controller is plugged in.

TAKE IT FROM ME!

My very best friend and boyfriend love to play video games. The best part, he loves to play video games with me. We both enjoy traveling the virtual worlds in video games and the real world, together. Ensure that when you start gaming together that it’s not a competitive game. Non competitive games act as a slow transistion into a new hobby. If you are completely new to games definitely take advantage of the knowledge your partner has. Ask questions and bring your enthusiasm.

IF YOU ARE THE GAMER

Encourage your partner to pick up that controller and try it out! Make sure you’re prepared for lots of questions. Do not expect them to be good and be understanding if a certain game is not for them. Let them know that there are tons of different types of games and ways to play. Keep in mind they could have attempted to play in the past and got the same experience in the Baby Yoda meme.
