With the coronavirus, we are all dying for new games and new consoles to keep us from the never-ending boredom that comes from self-quarantining.
Well cheer up because even though E3 was a virtual event we still have games coming out and two consoles to make you fight with your friends.

This holiday season both Xbox and PlayStation are releasing new consoles that will without a doubt enhance your gaming experience.
Personally, I am looking forward to the Xbox for the backward compatibility and the quick transition between games. The overall style of the Xbox X console resembles a PC setup so I have high hopes it will operate as smoothly.
WHO TAKES THE CAKE?
The overall statistics for memory, optical, Resolution and FPS are pretty much the same. Although Xbox takes the cake with their CPU, GPU, and Storage.
We can expect Xbox to have a higher frame rate on third party games. Load times will be a thing of the past for both consoles.
MORE SPACE???
This took me back to my first experience with PlayStation’s memory cards. Xbox can add 1 TB storage that is just as good as the storage already in the console. YES! More room for more games.
AGAIN, THE BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY!
Xbox is blessing us with backward compatibility with all Xbox generations! Some of those games may see some enhancements with framerate and more. Feel free to play the first of the games you love on a high-quality system.
PlayStation is taking part in the backward compatibility craze but not nearly as good. They
have this for only the PlayStation 4 games. If they did backward capability for all their previous consoles, I would be all for buying a PS5.

THE DESIGN
While the PlayStation setup does resemble your home wi-fi router, it is thinner than the Xbox. Many individuals, including myself, have tried to tuck away their consoles and prefer the mobility over an almost PC sized console.
With that being said, the PlayStation 5 is taller than the Xbox so both systems may cause some redecorating to make your gaming setups look perfect again.

CONTROLLERS, To throw or not to throw…That is the question!
The sleek PlayStation console, resembling a Wi-Fi router, will be offering up some amazing controller capability.
With PlayStation adding a touchpad and adaptive triggers you may think they have beat Xbox in this area.
Keep in mind that the Xbox controller is a larger size offering more comfort and they now have a specific button dedicated to sharing screenshots. Trigger sensitivity is already a capability with the Elite Xbox controllers.
WHO LISTENED TO THEIR PEOPLE?
Xbox has checked every box for many console users. Xbox has gone the route of giving us what we want. PlayStation is giving us things no one asked for. PlayStation only offering backward compatibility for PS4 really is a set back and makes Xbox look like they went the extra mile for their gamers. The overall design of the Xbox series X and controllers will offer their users a better gaming experience on games they’ve loved and games they will love.
Both consoles hit the market holiday 2020 and we know what console I will be purchasing.
